After working altogether over a century at Empa; Giovanni, Günther, Pit, Rolf and Silvia will/went already in their well-deserved retirement.
Fabien starts his master thesis on the topic "
Development of microporous graphene membranes for nanoparticle transport studies at biological barriers". He will work with Ivan Shorubalko (in group Nanoelectronics and Nano-Optics) and Tina Bürki (in group Particles@barriers
). We wish you a good start and good time! :-)
Welcome to Lucrezia Maini from ETH, who will spend some labortime with us as our academic guest =),
Congratulations to Andreas and Dominic for successfully finishing their apprenticeship as Physics Laboratory Technician VET and obtaining the Federal Vocational Baccalaureate (Engineering, Architecture, Life Sciences)!
Congratulations to Oliver Braun for successfully defending his PhD Thesis entitled "Thermoelectric Effects in Nanoscale Devices"!
