Swiss high energy density batteries - from advanced materials to a safe device (FAMSADI)

This project targets the development of a cost-effective prototype for a high energy density rechargeable lithium ion battery on the cell level based on abundant and environmentally friendly materials. In particular the project focuses on the development of vanadate based cathode materials enabling high capacities in excess of 400 Ah/kg.
