Registration is a three step process:

1. Register for the conference. The payment has to be done by credit card, please make sure to pay only the conference fee of CHF250.- in the first step. After successful payment you will receive a code for step 2.

2. Book your meals using the Monte Verità Meals & Bedroom Booking Platform. This is mandatory for all participants. More detailed information on this process can be found here

3. Book your room at one of the external hotels. The rooms at Monte Verità are all booked.

The fees are:

  • Registration fee: CHF 250.-

  • Meals (4x dinner, 4x lunch, 7x coffee breaks): CHF 362.-

  • Accommodation depending on your hotel choice

  • Accompanying person: CHF 800.- for 4 days including accomodation and full board

Please note that the number of participants is limited to 100 due to the limited capacity of the lecture hall. Registrations will be handled on a first come first serve basis, thus please register at your earliest convenience.

We hope to be able to offer a limited number of student travel stipends upon application, but we cannot confirm this at the current stage. Please send an email to to make a request.


All cancellations must be made in writing to .

If cancellations are received by August 15, 2019, 50 % of the conference fees will be reimbursed. As of August 16, 2019, no refund can be processed.


Important note
The registration fees do not include any insurance of the participants against any accidents, illness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to have adequate personal insurance before attending the conference.

The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organizers should the conference be canceled due to unexpected political or economic events or generally by "force majeure", or should the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate program changes. With registration, the participant accepts this.
