Chiral Nano receives 150,000 Swiss francs from Venture Kick

Venture Kick is supporting Chiral Nano with 150,000 Swiss francs to scale up semiconductor chips and nanomaterials. The spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and Empa has won the third stage of the innovation promoter's program.

Venture Kick is supporting Chiral Nano with 150,000 Swiss francs, the Schlieren-based innovation promoter announced in a press release. The spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa) specializes in the integration of nanomaterials in semiconductor chips. The young company from Zurich intends to use the funds to expand its development capacity and to make use of professional services.

Chiral Nano has passed all three stages of the Venture Kick program. "In each Venture Kick evaluation phase, we had a diverse audience of experts," Seoho Jung, CEO and co-founder of Chiral Nano, is quoted as saying in the press release. "Feedback from such an audience is always insightful." The young entrepreneur cites the growth "into a strong team" as another success of the program.
