Lab for Advanced Analytical Technologies
The Advanced Analytical Technologies' research begins at the roots of the value chain of chemical data, from their experimental generation to their insightful abstraction. In particular, we focus on (i) bulk-to-nano chemical inspection (RFA: Nanostructured Materials, Health & Performance); (ii) synthetic fuels (RFA: Energy), and (iii) emerging chemical hazards in the environment (RFA: NAREP).
We explore routes and practices that are beyond the horizon of routines in analytical chemistry, with the aim to technology transfer the consolidated outcomes. This is uniquely accomplished utilizing, developing and pooling spectroscopic methods, as well as digital data management and processing strategies. We cooperate on applying inventive inspection technologies, to overcome pressing challenges between society, industry and academia with a bridging enabling function.
