Coming from a small town in the italian alps, I studied materials engineering at Politecnico di Milano and worked on my master thesis about infrared photodetectors at IMEC in Leuven, Belgium.
Here in Zürich I joined Transport at Nanoscale Interfaces group at Empa as a PhD student after one year of internship at KovalenkoLab in ETHZ, to continue my work on physical characterisation of thin film photodetectors based on nanomaterials and perovskites under the supervision of Ivan Shorubalko and Maksym Kovalenko.
