    • Magnetometry: assesses the macroscopic magnetic properties of your materials from 400 K down to 2.5 K.

    • Quantitative Magnetic Force Microscopy: with our lab-built instruments and over two decades of experience with quantitative, high-lateral-resolution and high sensitivity magnetic force microscopy we can offer you world-best service and expertise for imaging the micromagnetic structure of your magnetic thin film sample or systems down to nanometer length scales, in magnetic fields up to 7 T and at temperatures between room temperature and 8 K.

  • Advanced Scanning Probe Microscopy and Nanopositioning:

    • Consulting on Scanning Probe Microscope Technologies: based on more than two decades of experience in the design and application of scanning probe microscopes (SPM) in environments ranging from liquid to UHV, room temperature to cryogenic temperatures, and in strong magnetic fields, we can offer consulting concerning the design and application of SPM.

    • Consulting on Nanopositioning: technology inspired from SPM instrumentation, for example nano-positioning units, actuators, and deflection sensors can be developed for other applications. Most importantly, we have experience in developing multi-dimensional nano-positioning units running almost wear-free over decades under extreme conditions such as UHV, low temperatures and also in strong magnetic fields.
