Our laboratory is always eagerly looking for students from Swiss Universities (e.g. ETHZ, Epfl, Uni Zürich) interested to perform a master project or thesis in our laboratory.

We currently offer the following topics for student projects:

• Tough but weak: understanding biocorrosion susceptibility of carbide-containing implants 

• Investigating the structure and properties of metal/ceramic interfaces by means of atomistic simulations: Designing an inter-atomic potential for the Cu/AlN system
