Light-Emitting Devices

We are developing the next generation of emissive materials for light-emitting devices (LEDs). The emission with a spectrally narrow bandwidth results in better color gamut and more saturated colors. Semiconductor nanocrystals are great candidates, covering the whole visible range by size and material composition.

Main research focus includes:

  • Lead halide perovskites (APbX3)
  • Semiconductor nanocrystals (CsPbX3, CdSe, InP)
  • Quantum wells of II-IV semiconductors
  • Metal-organic complexes
