Conference Programme

Scope:

Transition metal oxide compounds with perovskite-type structure (AMX3-d) show attractive physical and chemical properties, such as high temperature superconductivity or thermoelectricity, as well as interesting catalytic properties for various redox reactions.

These properties make the perovskites a suitable functional material for many applications. Due to the very flexible structure of the perovskites, the composition, the structure and therefore the properties can be tuned in a broad range, but in-deep understanding of the structure-property relation is required.

The aim of the conference is to assemble scientists from universities, scientific institutes as well as industry to promote international co-operations on perovskite-type materials development.
