Structure of COST Action 530
Within this Action, the Management Committee decided for the moment - according to the first call for Expressions of Interest - to put up five different Working Groups (WG).

As you can see from this figure - two different types of WG are established within COST Action 530:

  • Vertical WG - these working groups deals mainly with the application to different areas
  • Horizontal WG - these two working groups will address more methodological and interdisciplinary questions

  
Each WG has a member of the Management Committee that act as WG coordinator. He/She is the contact person for all questions arround the respective WG. Furthermore, he/she shall stimulate multinational work-sharing research among the WG participants - e.g. by encouraging Short Term Scientific Missions of young researchers of and between WG laboratories.
